Go to Hualian

we went to Hualian during Dragon Boat Festival vocation.

When we departed, it's a sunny Sunday morning. Unlucky, when we reach Yilan, it rained heavily.

It's traffic jam on the way to ShihDin interchange. We spent 40 min. to get on high way. We bought breakfast before we get on high way. A fat woman wore same T-shirt color of mine stand side by side with Shawn. When Shawn turned his head to her, he was shocked because he just notice the color of T-shirt and he thought that woman was me. He joked that if I were that fat, I would be better to stay at home. Of course, I give him a long face in return.

It's a 6 hours driving from Taipei to Hualian. Because of rain and mountain road, Shawn could only drove slowly. When we still on our way to Hualian, I asked Shawn if we can cancel this trip because I don't feel like to go any futher. It has been 4 hours driving and it's raining. (My OS is how come it's always raining when we went on a trip?) Shawn said we've book a hotel so we should go... Godness.... Wishing we can arrive any time soon...

Well, finally, finally, we arrived the place we live. Outside of building is so so, but inside of building is remodelled and comfortable. The view is very good and we took a lot of photo there. It's good place to do something romance.
After that, we are out to look for seafood. I thought the night market in Nanbin seashore should have a lot of fresh seafood. To my surprise, it is not. Only some booths for tourists. It is similar to local night market. So, we just eat something and head to night market in Hualian city. Well, there's a special train road in this night market. There's stores side by side. It's very much interesting than the previous night market. The famous food is 鹅肉先生(mr. Duck) and dumpling (水餃小籠包). Clients line up so it is quicker if you can eat inside rather than take it out. Of course, I did not eat seafood but end up by eating these food. And we bought special favor of Machi from洄瀾暑道.　Ｖery yummy! And went back to our hotel. The hotel have bicycles to ride for free. So,
we rode it for a while as the ending of that night.

It's interesting that a guest did not sleep well that night because he heard wired sound that night. That guest told the manager that he slept in his car because of ghost sounds. We're not sure if his word is truth because
we've good sleeping.

Today, we just have 1/2 day in Hualien and we've to head to Taipei. We visited 石雕博物館(很有意思的石雕),柴魚博物館（好吃的涼麵), 七星潭（終於找到考ＴＡＫＯ），花蓮酒廠（烤香腸好吃）,有點蕭條的花蓮漁港... 一路上吃吃喝喝的回台北....
On the way back to Yilan, it seems not that far because the weather is nice. so, it just took 2 hrs to Yilan(arrived yilan around 4:30pm). We planned to go home driving along north seashore, so, it's a long driving to home. Someone recommend 梗枋海鮮,so we ate there. It's cheap and yummy, too. It's funny that we did not eat seafood in Hualian but eat in Yilan. I kept reminding Shawn that the car is running out of gas but he did not listen to me. When we departed from yilan, we found most of gas station close at 5pm, so we passed 2 gas stations that are closed. The gas tank is almost empty and we're lucky that there's a gas station is still opening. What a close....

The evening view of north seashore is beautiful. It makes me want to paint. It's a traffic jam after 7:00pm, so Shawn suggested to go to 九份.... Why not? We went there before and never been there at night. The night view is good but many mosqito bits. After that, we arrived home at 11:00pm.

Overall, it's a nice trip~ First trip after wedding..........
